Choice Of Wood Screws

DIY : Home Repair

Back in the old days, there were but two types of common screws (to be used in lieu of nails): slot heads and Phillips heads. Now there are two recent ones available in most hardward stores in the U.S. Square head and star head. Neither one wobbles out easily compared to the former two mentioned above. The star head goes under the name of starz and requires a starz headed screw driver. Every box I have bought recently has included in it one very nice starz screw driver bit. Neat. Square headed screw driver bits are as common as any other.
