How To Choose A Swimsuit For Sunbathing

Beauty : Clothes And Fashion

If you are just planning on sunbathing and doing a spot of swimming in the sea or hotel pool when you go on holiday, then you want something fashionable more than thinking about a design for serious swimming. There is a huge range available in the shops as the holiday season creeps closer, so try on a few before making a final decision, as each range and design can vary wildly in price.

When you are looking for a two piece bikini, you should always try on before you buy and even better is to try from a range that allow you to buy top and bottom separately. Many women find that they are 2 different sizes and so this can prevent a problem, but if you can buy each part separately and not as a set, then you can select whichever size gives the best fit in both the briefs and the bra. Sometimes you can also mix and match which means you can combine whichever colours you want to have a unique design.

Sometimes a one piece swimsuit is actually better if you are planning on trying water sports rather than just swimming and sunbathing. A cropped tops and hot pants set are also suitable for these activities.

If you want to show off your tan then pastel colours and whites will do this most effectively. However, if you choose a white suit or bikini then make sure it is not transparent when under bright sunlight or you come out of water!

When you are sunbathing, the last thing you want to have to worry about are tan lines on your shoulders from straps, so unless you are quite happy just to push your straps down as you sunbathe, you could buy a bandeau top. Some of these come with light support if this is an issue. Other tops come with detachable straps, which you could remove completely or just make into a halterneck and so on.

After each day at the beach, rinse your suit under cold water to get rid of remnant of suntan oil, salt and chlorine and sweat. Hang it up to dry for the next day. Remember too when sunbathing that you should always use a high factor of sun protection cream, particularly at the start of summer when you burn more easily as your skin is not used to being exposed to such heat, so you must protect it.

More swimming advice

If you are pale skinned and want to show of your nice figure /legs but think you look silly without a tan wear a tankini {sexier than a 1piece , less revealing than abikini}and a long sarong.Bronzer can go wrong as it can go streaky or just go orange, so put it on to test it in winter when there isn't much on display so when u r on holiday in suummer /autumn u look & feel confident and sexy..

Beware of the Tan Thru suits! The straps are NOT tan thru so keep that in mind when choosing one. You WILL have tan lines where ever there is a strap or seam including around the legs and above the chest..

If u are quite brown but think you look different to all your friends, while wearing shorts/ skirts or enything that is quite reveling you should rub in talcum powder mixed with baby oil.
A friend of mine told me about it and it really works.
