How To Clean Fat Stains

Cleaning : Kitchen Cleaning

My tip for you is: if you spill fat on your clothes then don't wash them straight away. Rather, pour fairy liquid on it and leave to soak.

When you spill fat or any kind of oil on clothes, sprinkle talcum powder or bath powder on the stain and let it soak up the oil for a half an hour (depending on the stain) then brush off the talc and wash by hand with dish detergent.

To remove fat stains just take 1 large banana and some Mr Sheene. Then soak the clothing in the banana (that has been sent through a food mixer) and spray the final thing with Mr Sheene. Problem solved!

This has always worked for me, even if the fat/grease stain has already been through the wash: put some orange pumice hand cleaner on the stains and rub a little. Let it sit for a few hours and then send through the wash again..
