How To Clean Glassware And Plastic

Cleaning : Kitchen Cleaning

Have you ever notice when buying glassware or plastics sometimes you have those horrible sticky price labels on the items and when you try to peel them off you are still left with some of the glue left. If you put it in hot water it does not seem to shift. Well I have found that if you get a few drops of oil ie: olive oil etc and rub it into the glue it will remove it.

I find a solution called "Goo Gone" is very effective in removing these sticky residues. You can find it in some kitchen stores and places like Bed Bath and Beyond and Linens 'N Things for $4 a bottle. Very useful and one bottle lasts for a long time..

I use WD-40 to remove stickers or adhesive tags from plastic or glass. spray on, let sit a few minutes then wipe off with a paper towel.
