How To Clean Makeup Brushes
Beauty : Cosmetics It is important to clean all your makeup brushes as they can harbour dirt and germs easily, and then these are constantly spread from the brush to the makeup to your skin, which is not healthy at all. Take each brush and run it under warm water, then apply a small amount of shampoo - you might want to use baby shampoo as this is extra sensitive, and gently rub until you have a soft lather. After a few minutes, run each brush under the cold tap and rub the bristles to get rid of the soap. When the water runs clear and isn't coloured from makeup, then you know the brushes are clean. In order to avoid the bristles going hard and having nasty growth from water residue, you should leave them to dry for at least 24 hours, preferably by the sink or a place where the air can get at them. Always let them air dry, never just pat them with a towel and try to use them immediately afterwards.
