Confidence And Being Your Own Worst Enemy

Self Development : Confidence

One thing that stands out when studies of people who lack confidence are done is that we are sometimes our own worst enemy.

Often when we talk to ourselves, we coach ourselves to act a certain way.

And for those who lack confidence, many of them tell themselves negative thoughts all the time, such as 'I shouldn't do this' or 'I can't do that' or 'If I ask this question they will think I'm stupid'.

In other words, self sabotage is rife! Therefore be gentle and softer with yourself - not harsh.

Be forgiving of yourself like you would be with others, and reduce any negative language that you feel yourself slipping into.
