Cut Down Your Living Costs
Money : Saving Daily travel costs for commuting to work can really add up by the end of the year, or even the end of the month, so ditch the car or train and opt for cycling or walking, if you live close to work. You will save money, get fitter and help protect the environment all in one go, so it is definitely worth it. Switch gas or electricity suppliers, and research online first as you can find out which deals are available to you – probably much cheaper than what you’re already paying for. Compare food prices on specialist comparison websites, and switch supermarkets if you need to. It might be cheaper to shop online if it costs you more in petrol to get to the shops, so consider doing this instead. Ditch the takeaway coffees and make your own at home then bring a flask to work. Its much easier than waiting in a queue for 10 mins. Prepare your lunch at home the night before as well. Cut your phone bills by using Skype at home instead.
