How To Cut Your Water Bill

Money : Mortgages

Many people do not realise that water bills for most households are flat rate - in other words, not metered.

If you pay a flat rate for your water, then you may be able to slash it.

If you live on your own or have a low water usage, then you are subsidising all those households that are water wasteful or contain several people.

Why subsidise others when you can get a water meter fitted and only pay for what you use.

Most people who have a water meter fitted because they think they can save money do in fact end up saving a significant amount of money. And also being metered encourages you to think carefully about your water usage which means you are less likely to waste this precious resource.
