| Jobs : Job Profiles A career that not many pursue, but the overall requirement is that you can dance, interpret music, and look happy whilst doing so - really this is the role of an entertainer. Key skills: You must be flexible, strong, graceful, a strong sense of rhythm and a love of music is a must You must be disciplined, able to train for hours on end, and must be able to work with partners. Often dancers start by undergoing classical ballet training when growing up, then diverge as they age. Competition is fierce, and the rewards are low unless you become a top notch competitor and able to perform well in international competitions. Therefore it might be best to have a back-up plan as sometimes even determination and focus aren't enough to pay the bills!
