Dangers Of Online Shopping

Money : Saving

Most websites you are signed up to will add the personal touch by recommending items you are likely to buy, according to your previous spending history. This will tempt you into spending more money than originally planned.

They may also email you on a regular basis with all the latest offers and fashion trends to draw you into making another visit to their website.

Special offers may not always be as good as they seem. They may give you free delivery if you spend over £75 for example, so if you were originally planning to stick to £30 then it may persuade you into buying an extra couple of items just so you dont waste it on delivery costs.

ID fraud is a major concern so always make sure the website has a padlock sign at the bottom right of your screen when making a purchase. If not then don't go ahead with it.

Make sure you are visiting a legitimate site and avoid companies that only have a mobile phone number or email address, or even just a PO BOX as a way of contact.
