How To Deal With A Friend Who Loves You

And particularly so if the feelings are not reciprocated at all. So what can you do in this situation, how should you treat it? Well the first thing is it is best not to ignore it as their feelings may get deeper - hey you are a great person - so you need to deal with it sooner rather than later. Be completely open therefore and find some quiet time where it is just the two of you. Say how flattered you are that you value your friendship and so on and that you don't want anything to come between you. And that you worry a relationship may cause that and you aren't prepared to take the risk. Be firm but friendly and clear in your reasoning and they should respect you. This should allow you to continue as friends.
