How To Deal With An Annoying Brother

A friend of mine has a younger brother who is rude to all her friends when they come over, meaning that it is really hard for her to bring anyone over at all. So what can you do to deal with such a situation with awkward teenagers? One simple option is to ensure that your door at home has a lock, so you can both go there in your own sanctuary and keep pesky brother or other trouble makers at bay! Alternatively it may be worth getting the parents involved to have a word, if it is likely that he will listen. Otherwise have a quiet chat with him and try and get some sympathy from him and make him feel guilty about ruining things for you.
