How To Deal With Dead Fish

Pets : Fish

It's a fact that many fish don't have a particularly long life, and some also succumb early to disease or illness.

If you have a dead fish in your tank, then it is very important that you remove it as soon as possible.

Otherwise, then infection and illness can set in across the tank as decay occurs.

Therefore, skin off the surface with a net as soon as you can.

In terms of disposal, you can either bury in a box or use some other safe and sanitised manner.

If you have children who are likely to be upset by this and you don't want them to know what has happened then you can consider saying it has gone on holiday and ensuring that they didn't witness it floating on the water.
