How To Deal With Noisy Neighbours

Well the key is always to stay calm in any dealings you have with them, no matter how tempting it is to go around ranting and raving this is sure to make the situation worse. First, what can you do to minimise the noise? Install double glazing, and try to keep windows closed (not so practical in Summer) to keep some of the noise away. In terms of dealing with the noise, you can try a friendly word first and if that brings no joy, then look to get someone impartial and external involved. Keep a log of all the noise and what goes on when. In most countries the local council will be able to put you in touch with someone who will help to negotiate a resolution and this is the best method to try to pursue and stop the problems.
