How To Deal With Questions In A Presentation

Education : English

One aspect of giving a talk of presentation is that you may find that you are asked questions at the end of the speech.

Don't be afraid of them but welcome them as an opportunity to show your knowledge on a topic.

When a question is asked thank them for it and be courteous.

There is no problem with taking a few seconds to gather your thoughts before you give a rely.

When you do reply, be sure to keep it relevant and answer the question (tip: don't do what politicians do and answer the question they wanted to be asked!)

If it is a request for information that you don't know, then it is best to say that it is a good question and you will find out the answer for them after the presentation - if you don't know something there is no point pretending that you do just for the sake of it!
