Either through awful judgement or genuine desire to cheat, they will call the lines - and sometimes inside the lines - as out! If this happens to you, then what can you do? Well, the first time it happens give them the benefit of the doubt as everyone can make mistakes. If it is clear that this is a deliberate tactic of theirs, then you have the following options: - first, mention to them that their call is wrong and has been so consistently. If they accept, then replay the point. If this has no affect, then you next step is as follows: - if it is a tournament match, then you will have to walk off court to discuss the situation and see if someone can umpire - if it a league match or not being played in situ at a competition, then you can either stop there and then and report the situation by phone, or play on, then report after the match to the league Leagues particularly have monitoring in place and if more than one complaint is received against a player then it is likely that they will be banned from the league.
