How To Delay Publication Of A Press Release
| Business : PR If you don't want your press release to be published just yet but want to get it out there to build up interest and awareness, then all you need to do is state this clearly on your press release. Under the title simply use the embargo, as it is called, and write: "Embargoed until ...date..." at the top of the press release. The reason you might want to do this is if you are planning a surprise product launch in a fortnight, then you hardly want it to be published today and ruin the surprise. This is known as an embargo in the jargon of press release land!
