How To Descale Your Kettle

Cleaning : Kitchen Cleaning

Descaling a kettle in a hard water area is necessary to save on electricity, for aesthetic appeal and also for taste - hot cups of tea with limescale floating do not taste too nice at all!

The bset product to use is a little white vinegar, mixed with some water in roughly equal quantity - no need to measure exactly!

Bour into the kettle and leave for an hour. This should dissolve the limescale one.

Once done just pour out and rinse with clean water and then boil with clean water and pour away before using the kettle for drinks again.
