Developments In Egyptian Medicine
Education : History They developed a greater understanding of the human body, through the preparation of the corpse for mummification. People had to keep thier bodies and clothes clean as there was more discipline in public health, and therefore this helped keep people healthy. They had strong religious beliefs, and charms were often used to ward off illness (e.g. scarab beetles). Knowledge was built up through writing cures down, and noting what learned and what didn't - past knowledge helped inform future information.
