Most of us eat sandwiches for lunch and there is nothing wrong with that.
The problem is with the shops, which tend to smother the sandwiches with mayo.
Now mayo is swimming with calories and therefore not particularly good for you. And annoyingly many people don't like mayo on their sandwiches but have to have it anyway.
So do yourself a favour and make your own sandwiches for work - in the process you can save many calories, a teaspoon of the average mayo will have from around 80 - 90 calories in it, so you could save 20% of calories from a sandwich just by taking out the mayo!
