Health And Fitness : Exercise Guide Start with feet apart and back straight, knees bent a little. Then grip the bar with palms facing outwards, and hands brushing outside of thighs. Look straight ahead. Then curl bar up to chest, with elbows kept into your body. Make sure you do in a controlled and slow manner. Note that you should not curl your wrists whilst performing barbell curls. Good luck!
