How To Do Basic Algebra - II

Remember that when asked to simplify an algebraic equation, you cannot merge different terms. For instance,

2x + 3y + 4z + 4x only simplifies to:
6x + 3y + 4z. There is no further simplification you can do - you cannot merge the x, y and z together as you may not be comparing like with like.
