How To Do Face Painting
Games : Party Games Face painting is very popular with young children, at parties and carnivals and so on. It is quite simple to do, but you ideally should be reasonably good at art to do complicated faces like those of animals. Simple hearts and flowers however are easy. Let the person you are going to painting on sit on a chair facing you, and make sure to keep hair out of the way of the face. Clean their face with a tissue or warm face cloth, then apply the base, using a sponge if possible for maximum coverage. Lighter colours should be added first. Use makeup brushes of different sizes, using the thinnest one for painting fine lines. You can mix the colours to make your own variations if possible. Never let the paint get in the eyes though, and when you are working near the eyes, let the person close their eyes when you paint above them and look up when you are working below. It is best not to use face paints on people who have sensitive skin or any allergies to the ingredients. To remove the face paint, follow the directions on the package, but if it doesn't specify then a cotton wool pad dipped in baby lotion should usually do the trick.
