How To Do Foreign Language Homework

Education : Homework

If you are learning a foreign language in school, then sometimes you will be asked to write a short essay. For instance, to write 50 words on what you did at the weekend.

When you are creating such a piece of homework, there is one tip that will work above all others:

First, write out the 50 words of what you want to say in English. Once that is done, scan the 50 words. Do you know how to say everything you have written in the foreign language? If not, adapt until you do.

For instance, if you wrote that you played football for the under 15s local team and saved three shots on goals, but don't know how to say that, adapt to: 'at the weekend I played football for my local team. I was the goal keeper and had a very good game'.
