How To Do Shellac Nails
Beauty : Hands And Feet Shellac nails are a new trend, but as they havent been around for long, you may not even know how to do Shellac nails, unless someone else does them for you, like at the nail salon. Shellac is a nail colour that is like any other nail polish, but it is longer lasting, non chipping and very shiny. Unlike normal gels, there isnt any damage to your nails. They are quicker and easier to remove, and your nails will look lovely and healthy. Shellac nails can last you around a fortnight, so are efficient and cheap, and will save you time. Your going to need: Nail Varnish Remover Cotton Pads Shellac Base Coat Shellac Colour Coat Shellac Top Coat UV Light Nail Dryer Nail File Cuticle Stick Nail/Cuticle Oil What you need to do: Remove all existing nail polish, using your nail polish remover and cotton wool pads. Once done, you will need to file your nails down to a nice shape and length with the nail file. Soak your hands in a bowl of warm water for 3 minutes. Dry hands and push back your cuticles with the cuticle stick. Apply shellac base coat thinly to your nails, dry in a UV light dryer for about 15 seconds. Apply shellac colour coat. Dry for two minutes under UV light dryer. Apply second coat of shellac colour coat and dry again for two minutes. Apply shellac top coat and dry for two minutes. You should do one hand at a time using this process.
