Draw On Past Successes
| Self Development : Success One great way to have success now and in future pursuits is to draw on the past. We all know that life is mainly about experience and having gone through and experienced something once means that we are much more likely next time to do the thing better, and of course there is the added advantage that it will be a familiar process. If you want to undergo some change or develop a new skill, then whilst you haven't developed that skill before, you have developed other skills and can draw on these. Whether it was learning to swim or learning to ride a bike, there will be something like this that you have learnt in the past that at the time may have seemed very hard or even impossible. Therefore draw on your successes on those occasions to give you the confidence that you can achieve success again in achieving your latest goal or target.
