How To Drill Into A Shiny Surface

DIY : Building

Here's a handy hint for those DIYers amongst you!

When drilling into a shiny/slippery surface like bathroom tiles, just stick a piece of sellotape over the spot where you are drilling.

Why do this, I hear you cry!

Well the answer is simple:

It will stop your drill bit from slipping all over the place.

Therefore you should find it much easier to drill in a steady manner as desired. Try this hint - you should find it works wonders for you, and it's so simple too!
