Driving Test Manouvre Tips

Hobbies : Cars And Motoring

Reversing around a corner can be quite a tricky manouvre to master. Observation is very important. So as the car reverses, you should have a marker in the rear near side window. Place that visual marker on the centre of the kerb.

Stop and check. If you dont do a blind spot check then you will automatically fail. Always stop to check all around before going round the corner.

When you do the emergency stop, brake harder than normal but not so hard that you get whiplash. There is a key to finding the right balance of force. Remeber on a wet, icy or snowy day the car may skid.

A turn in the road (also known as a three point turn) is another hard one to learn. You need to turn the wheel as fast as possible. Lean forward to do this if needed. The quicker you turn it, the more space you will have to be able to move out.

Give yourself enough room when you take on bay parking. Look behind you and try to focus on putting the back of your car into the bay.

You dont need to be perfect first time as you can stop straight then go forward and come back in.
