| Money : EBay There are several ways you can bid on eBay and no right way. However there are ways that can increase your chances of success. The key thing you need to do is decide how much money you will bid up to and be disciplined and stick to it. The mentality of 'just one more bid' has made eBay a lot of money but has made a lot of people a bit poorer! Consider bidding in strange units of numbers too, for instance don't increment in 10p's but rather 13p for instance - e.g. a bid of ?1.17 is better than a round number bid because it is higher than the standard bid amount at that level and would be favoured over the standard lower bid.
