How To Enjoy A Double Date

Horror stories abound of people who don't get on at all with the partners date and the two couples end up arguing, or one couple compares itself to the other one and gets miserable, or perhaps worst of all in a way the partners of the opposite couples get on a little too well and end up running off together! Given this, why double date and how can it be made enjoyable? First, you need to ensure that all four on the double date think that it is a good idea! Then it is worth sitting the two men next to each other and the two women next to each other at the table, but swap the partners over on the other side of the table, this means that the person opposite you and next to you - neither of them are your partner, which is presumably the point of it, to get to know other people. Also be sure to work out in advance who will pay for what to avoid problems there, and remember not to flirt with your partners date, neither your partner nor your friend will be too pleased with that happening!
