How To Ensure A Car Dealer Sticks To Their Promises

In their desire to make a sale, they may bend the truth a little, safe in the knowledge that it is unlikely that you can come back to bite them. Therefore if they say something that is particularly important to you, or make a promise or say anything that has swayed you from not buying to buying, then get them to write it down in paper and therefore make the promise in writing. If they agree to this then you have the security of being able to prove what they promised should that become relevant, and if they are not prepared to put it on paper then it implies that they were making promises that they cannot follow through on, and you can quit your losses and move on before you actually have any losses!
