The excuses are familiar - I would exercise but I don't have time, or it's too expensive to join the gym.

Well exercise at home then:
men - press ups can be done for nothing

men and women - sit ups don't require equipment

aerobic -
A brilliant way to get quick aerobic exercise is to run up and down the stairs a few times

At work : don't use the lift or elevator. Rather try and use the stairs.
