Certainly if you are wearing the same shoes from one year to the next then you are probably not keeping up with trends and patterns. At the moment it is probably safest to buy shoes with thin heels; tall and elegant shoes. The chunky smaller heels are out at the moment. Of course the great thing with shoes is if you keep them in good condition then they can almost certainly come out the box again in a few years time when they are back in fashion. Note that shoes with embellishments look good at the moment, for instance studs or little patterns.
