How To Feel Satisfied For Longer
Health And Fitness : Dieting Tips When we snack, we tend to have something sweet and sugary. Whilst this will help in the short term, in the main this is not the best way - due to quick fluctuations in blood sugar level caused by the snack. Rather, it is better to have foods with what is known as a low Glycaemic Index (GI) when you snack, and if you always feel peckish at a certain time, even eat your snack just before you start to feel peckish to mitigate the hunger! Suitable food to snack on would include the following: - apples, pear, orange, peach - low sugar fruit muffin - oatcakes - health food bar - small portion of yoghurt Note that chocolate and doughnuts and so forth can feel good initially, but after a quick boost they can actually make tiredness set in as your body sets to work on digesting fat content!
