How To Find Your Cat
| Pets : Cats From time to time many cat owners experience the difficult situation where their cat goes missing. The first thing to try is to walk around the local area calling the name of your cat. Enlist friends to help if you can. Often that will be enough to turn up the cat, but if it is lost slightly further afield, then you may have no joy. When on your search, make any sounds that might be familiar to your cat to attract it out if it is scared. The next step will be to create a few leaflets with a picture (if possible) and description of your pet, and pop them through local doors along with a contact number. Most people are good natured and if they spot a cat they don't recognise, this may turn up trumps. Finally, try animal shelters to see if your cat has been handed in. Also chipping your cat will help to stop them getting lost.
