Everyone has a conception of some sort of perfect partner but of course the fact is that this person only ever exists in your head - and its because of that that they are perfect. Therefore the first rule in getting on in dating and meeting a new person successfully is to banish this concept of the perfect date from your head. If you forget about the perfect partner it will free you up to judge people you meet on their merits and not in comparison to some perfect date who doesn't even exist!
