How To Fix A Sticking Door.
| DIY : Home Repair If your door is out of alignment and doesn't close properly, you can adjust it very quickly and easily using just a screwdriver and a piece of cardboard. If it's sticking at the top, remove the bottom hinge, place the cardboard {about 1/8" to 1/4" inch thick, depending on how bad the misalignment is} between the hinge and the door frame, and replace the screws: this will drop the top edge slightly and pull the door inwards along the top side. If it's the bottom of the door which is sticking, use the same procedure on the top hinge.
