How To Fix Beading To A Window

DIY : Home Repair

When fixing beading to a window to hold the glass in, it is difficult to hammer the nails in once the beading is in place, so it is best to tap them in half way on a bench or some concrete and just finish nailing them in actually in the window.

Excellent tip Jonathan, and I'd just like to add this: with your length of pre-nailed beading in place, you can avoid damaging or scratching the glass by holding a piece of cardboard against it while you're hammering.
