How To Fix Fly Away Hair

Beauty : Haircare

Fly away hair can be a real pain sometimes, and makes your hair look all fluffy, taking away the shiny, smooth look. This is mainly due to conditions which cause these strands to become dry and static, perhaps because of central heating or clothes that have recently come out of a tumble dryer.

However, the good news is that this can be fixed. An anti static moisturising shampoo can help with this, especially during the winter when the air is much drier. Conditioning after every time you wash your hair will also improve it's condition.

When you need to dry it, a hairdryer used in the correct way can help to smooth down the top layers of your hair, thus preventing fly aways. Invest in an ionic blow dryer are dry your hair from roots to tip by blowing the hair downwards, and smoothing down with your hand or a brush at the same time. After this, straightening is also a good idea especially for the outer layer as this will help to flatten your hair.

A leave in conditioner may also be beneficial as this will ensure hair is moisturised at all times, and reduce its staticness.
