How To Floss Correctly

Health And Fitness : Alternative Health

Flossing teeth is something that is recommended to help shift material between teeth that can lead to halitosis - bad breath - and also aid tooth decay.

Some people suggest flossing after brushing teeth but I always do it before hand then brush them. I think if you brush before then the flossing just disturbs and spreads the decaying material onto teeth - seems the wrong way round!

Get a nice long length of floss and wrap it around your fingers so you can pull it taut enough to work.

THen move it in and out between the teeth, with tight together teeth take your time to ease it between them - and don't force it down so it hits the gum and causes bleeding.

After each tooth move onto another little section of the floss.

Always remember to do front and back of teeth.
