Confidence at work can be dented for a variety of reasons - a mistake that you made, poor relations with your boss, or due to habitual lack of confidence.

How do you raise up your confidence at work?

By acting confident. Funny thing is, when you act confident, other people assume that you are confident. And they treat you as though you are confident which in turn makes you feel more confident.

So rather than being indecisive around the office and nervous in your decisions, weigh up the pros and cons and back your own opinion and ideas.

Some would say it’s hard to act confident, try this: imagine you were a confident person, real think about this, think about the confidence running through your body, pretend you’re that confident person now - what do you see in your mind’s eye? What would you say to yourself? How would your voice sound? Take a look at yourself as this new confident person, how is your body posture? What looks different? How do you feel? As you imagine being confident you will feel confident, as our mind and body works as one. Try this 3 more times and notice how your confident feeling grows each time you imagine being a new confident person.
