The first exercise for getting a flat stomach is as follows:
From the starting position:
- place hands flat under hips, palm down
- with knees bent and legs together, brace the abdominal muscles.
Bring legs up until at right angles to your body. Use the abs to pull knees towards your chest.
Hold for a couple of seconds, and then repeat the exercise.
