How To Get A Job

Firstly, you will need to update your CV (or create one if you dont have one). Check out all the tips online for this. You will need to include your name, address, email, phone numbers, your personal skills e.g. languages you speak, and what you are like as a person. Obviously include your education (name and years attended school/college/uni) and your subjects you studied along with your grades. Past experience and interests also need to be included. Make sure you have people who are able to give you referances too but dont include these on your CV - just put 'Available on request'.

Look online for jobs on any of the job websites and also Gumtree is very useful for this.

You will probably need to bring your passport and certificates along with you to an interview. Think of questions they might ask you and plan your answers in advance. Make sure you dress smartly and are on time. Be early if possible. Also be polite, make eye contact and smile. Talk positively in your interview and dont highlight any of your bad points unless they ask obviously, but you could make this into a positive e.g. if they ask you, you could say you can be competitive at times, but this makes you work harder.
