How To Get A Job In The Media

Many people dream of getting a job in the media, and think it is a bed of roses.

Newsflash - apart from a very lucky few, it is a real slog, and you will have lots of poorly paid and frankly quite rubbish jobs, on the way up.

The bottom line to getting in the media is to be happy, smily and enthusiastic and committed.

Apply to everywhere you can - for instance local radio stations, and offer to work for free. Offer to work as a runner for free on TV shows just to get some experience on set.

Many top stars start out like this, working for free or for little money making the cups of tea, and wait for a break.
