If the BBC are anything like the commercial stations then they may give away more tickets than there are seats. This is common practice for popular shows (such as Frank Skinner) to ensure the studio has a full house. Always arrive early as those at the back, even if they have tickets, may be asked to come back another time if more people turn up than expected..
