How To Get Help With The Job Search

Jobs : Job Search

If you are looking for a new job, or searching for your first job, then you will know that support is needed to help you through often a difficult time of your life.

One option to seriously consider is to get yourself a career mentor. This is someone who can offer you impartial advice and that you can talk to in total confidentiality.

Hopefully they act as a sounding board and motivator if required, and can be involved as much or as little as you ask them to be.

Ideal people are senior people in yours or a similar company - those with lots of advice and experience to draw from and offer you.

They may also have useful contacts that you can work with and have advice to help you work smarter and not harder, to use that phrase.
