This can put off smaller, faster players who may be very good when given a chance to shine, and when they develop in a few years time. Therefore consider playing touch rugby at school - it lessens the risks of injuries, and makes it a more even playing field, too. The rules are also simpler and hence easier for younger kids to understand. Also a great drill for those who do play full rugby.
