Well, you should do a combination of sprint training and agility training. One of the best ways to develop speed over a short distance is with sprinting in the gym, or any marked area. Start from still at the closest line to you, sprint to the next closest line, touch the ground, turn and sprint back. Then repeat for the next line, moving further and further away until you have reached all lines. This will help your game develop no end!
