How To Get The Best Jogging Kit

Health And Fitness : Running Technique

The better kit you want when jogging, the more you will have to pay.

And particularly this applies to the most important bit of kit at all for any jogger - the trainers that are used to perform the task that is jogging.

Although of course there is a large range of trainers available on the high street, these are mainly made for comfort rather than running.

When you first wear proper running trainers you will be surprised at the difference. Not only can you get a much more comfortable fit and shoe that fits exactly, but the shops that sell these will also have trained staff to help you pick the right shoe for you.

For that reason it is definitely worth going to a specialist shop to get the benefit of them checking your jogging movement and see which trainer would be best for you.

Expect to pay anything up to around £100 for a decent running trainer. Remember when you try them on to wear socks as you will when running, and use exactly the same type of sock as you would wear when running too as the thickness can make a difference and you want a great fit.

Finally, remember that trainers have a shelf life and don't last for as long as many people think - so do also change them when necessary!
