How To Give A Great Lesson

Education : Teaching

A great lesson is one that involves and interests the children.

Too many teachers prepare a lesson plan and then just deliver it, without thinking about how it comes across to the kids or whether it will engage them.

Rather, you should look to include them interactively; this will help them remember the topic at hand and also make the subject more interesting for them.

The holy grail is to get children interested in a subject so that they want to learn, and that no doubt has a lot to do with the teacher.

Therefore put effort into being innovative and using novel approaches to help you teach. This may seem difficult as the curriculum is so constrained and almost restrictive, but you can be creative at least with the manner of delivery if not the content that you deliver itself.
